Aerojet Rocketdyne wins $23.8 million two-year contract to supply engines for Javelin anti-tank missiles

Lockheed Martin has signed a two-year, $23.8 million deal with Aerojet Rocketdyne for the production and supply of propulsion systems for Javelin anti-tank missiles.

Aerojet Rocketdyne is a supplierengines since the 2000s. During this time, it provided power units for more than 50,000 anti-tank missiles. This was stated by President and CEO Eileen Drake.

The contract was signed against the background of the decision of the Americanauthorities for a significant increase in Javelin production. In late spring, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon received a $7.2 billion contract to supply anti-tank missiles to the US Department of Defense.
