How does this machine work
To work on a painting, the robot uses a canvas,paints (acrylic or watercolor) and brush. Like a true creator, he can mix paints, dilute them with water and, without which he would not be an artist, paint a picture. Unlike other similar devices, AI does not randomly generate designs—a person sets the concept for the image. For example, you can give a drawing a certain shape and choose the number of strokes, which determines whether it will be more abstract or realistic.
The team is currently implementing the systemvisual feedback that will allow the robot to “see” the painting in progress, allowing human intervention and co-creation. The AI Painting Project will be presented at SXSW 2021 and will be available to view online on March 16th. They will also show a startup that uses AI for efficient sorting of steel, clothing-keyboards for smart glasses, and several other projects.
