The similar style suggests that they belonged to the same school. In the same way, we plan to study other
scrolls. Mladen Popovic, one of the authors of the article, professor at the University of Groningen
Qumran manuscripts or Dead Sea Scrolls -the name of the manuscripts discovered, starting in 1947, in the caves of Qumran, in the caves of Wadi Murabbaat. The scrolls found at Qumran date back to the 3rd century BC. e. to 1st century AD e. and have enormous historical, religious and linguistic significance.
A study of the manuscripts confirmed that according toat least some of them were written specifically in the Qumran community. They represent rewritten books of the Old Testament, biblical apocrypha and literature that described the life of the Jewish sect of the Essenes.
Scientists have created a neural network that can highlight the common features and differences in the writing of these texts.
The results of Popovich and his colleagues support this assumption. It turned out that the scroll could be divided into two equal halves, each of which consisted of the first 27 and last columns of text.
This clear division suggests that the Great Isaiah Scroll had at least two authors or two groups of authors whose writing styles were very similar.
