Aipower Wearbuds on Kickstarter: wireless headphones that charge from a fitness bracelet

The young company Aipower came out with an unusual project on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.

What is known

The product was called Wearbuds and it is completelywireless headphones with a case for charging in the form of a sports bracelet. The headphones received IPX6 protection against water, support for the aptX codec, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 35 mAh battery (in each earphone). According to the company, this should be enough for 5.5 hours of listening to music. With a charging case (bracelet), this figure will increase to 12 hours.

The tracker itself was equipped with a heart rate sensor andtouch color 0.96-inch display with a resolution of 160 × 80 pixels. It displays notifications from applications, as well as information about your activity. Bracelet, like headphones, got protection from water. It has a 120 mAh battery installed. The manufacturer promises up to 7 days of the device.

Price and when to wait

The first 100 people who will pre-orderAipower Wearbuds will be able to buy them for $ 50, the next 1000 people - for $ 70. All the rest will have to pay $ 100 for the product. Sales of new items, if everything goes well, will begin in September of this year.
