Aipower Wearbuds on Kickstarter: wireless headphones that charge from a fitness bracelet

The young company Aipower has launched an unusual project on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform.

What is known

The product was called Wearbuds and that’s itwireless headphones with a charging case in the form of a sports bracelet. The headphones received water protection according to the IPX6 standard, support for the aptX codec, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 35 mAh battery (in each headphone). According to the company, this should be enough for 5.5 hours of listening to music. With a charging case (bracelet), this figure will increase to 12 hours.

The tracker itself is equipped with a heartbeat sensorand a 0.96-inch color touchscreen display with a resolution of 160×80 pixels. It displays notifications from applications, as well as information about your activity. The bracelet, like the headphones, is protected from water. It has a 120 mAh battery. The manufacturer promises up to 7 days of device operation.

Price and when to expect

The first 100 people to pre-orderAipower Wearbuds will be able to buy them for $50, the next 1000 people will be able to buy them for $70. Everyone else will have to pay $100 for the product. Sales of the new product, if all goes well, will begin in September this year.
