Airbus confident that Spain will continue to purchase Eurofighter Typhoon fighters to replace the EF-18 Hornet

The European concern Airbus is full of confidence that the Spanish Air Force in the near future

will sign a new contract for the purchase of Eurofighter Typhoon fighters.

The Spanish Air Force has 70 aircraftEurofighter Typhoon levels Trance 1, 2 and 3. As part of the Project Halcon program, Madrid will receive 20 Trance 4 fighters. At the same time, in order to abandon the Boeing EF-18 Hornet, Spain will need another 60 new aircraft, subject to a 1 to 1 replacement.
