The file name includes a reference to the code nameB298, which is supposedly the internal name that Apple uses for its future AirPods. In addition, the image itself was found in the “Access Settings” folder. This also hints at the emergence of a new feature that will allow the accessory to be used as a hearing aid.

We also note that in early September on the Weban image of the AirPods 3 prototype appeared. At first, no one attached particular importance to this photo, but after the last leak they were tied together. If all of the above turns out to be true, then the new Apple AirPods 3 premium headphones are likely to come with a redesigned charging case that will be noticeably wider, but shorter than the current version. It is unclear whether any internal improvements will be made, but previously there was also information from reputable sources that the new AirPods 3 will receive not only a new design and housing, but also several important functional additions, including noise reduction and water resistance.
