Alienware x16 unveiled, the brand's first 16" laptop since 2004

What is known

Unlike the Alienware M laptops, which are aimed at gamers, the company says the Alienware X laptops are also aimed at everyday work.

Dell says the Alienware x16 is the mostpremium model in the assortment of the company. The body is made of metal. Inside there are six stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. And lots of AlienFX RGB lighting. It's even on the touchpad. Moreover, the user can customize the backlight for each individual key. Frame refresh rate - up to 480 Hz.

The hardware here is familiar if youStay tuned for what's new at CES 2023. The heart of the Alienware x16 is Intel's Raptor Lake-HX chips. The top modification is equipped with GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop graphics.

The model with a 14" display also has its ownpeculiarity. Dell claims the Alienware x14 is the world's thinnest 14" gaming laptop. It has a QHD+ resolution and a frame rate of 165Hz.

The hardware platform is a bit more modest compared to the Alienware x16. The top version of the laptop received a GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop video card and an Intel Core i7-13620H chip.

Price and when to wait

Alienware x16 will go on sale in two waves. Top versions will appear first (from $3099), and then more modest ones (from $2149). Alienware x14 to hit the market starting at $1,799
