Almost Game of Thrones: Netflix wants to extend the Witcher for seven seasons and not everyone will survive

The first series of "The Witcher" from Netflix has not yet reached the world premiere, but the show runner of the series Lauren Hissrich

already planned the next seasons.

In an interview for SFX magazine (via PC Games N), Lauren said she had painted the plot seven episodes ahead and was already making plans for the second season:

“I have outlined the plot for seven seasons. Now the main question is how to create stories that will captivate the audience for many years. The worst thing we could do is to direct all our strength only to the first season and not think about the development of all these characters. ”

Showrunner added that some characters are allthey won’t live up to the final credits and leave the series earlier. The second season has not yet been announced, but, according to the sources of "Redanskaya intelligence", filming will begin in December 2019 or January 2020. The season will start, according to rumors, in 2021.
