Amazfit Bip S: an inexpensive smart watch with a heart rate sensor, GPS and autonomy up to 40 days

At the CES 2020 exhibition in Las Vegas, Huami introduced another smartwatch model - Amazfit Bip S, which

came to replace Amazfit Bip.

What changed

Amazfit Bip S has the same 1.28-inchtransflective color display with 176x176 resolution and support for 64 watch faces. It is protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and oleophobic coating. There is an Always-on Display function, when messages and various notifications are displayed on the switched off screen.

The watch is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard.

There is support for 10 sports modes, sensorheart rate, GPS and Bluetooth 5.0 for connecting to a smartphone. In addition, they added physical activity graphs and the ability to control music, which was so lacking in the previous model.

Battery capacity is 190 mAh. This is enough for 90 days in standby mode, 40 days of operation in normal mode and 22 hours of continuous operation of the GPS and heart rate sensor.

Amazfit Bip S costs only $70. Sales will start in February.
