Amazfit, which owns Huami, has recently gained a large number of fans around
Remember Verge, Verge Lite, Bip, GTR smartwatchand Stratos. The Chinese company behind all of these devices under the Amazfit brand has nothing to do with Huawei ... or Amazon, for that matter. But Huami is one of the world's largest manufacturers of smart wearable devices, plus it collaborates with Xiaomi in the insanely popular Mi Band fitness tracker line.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the company stormedthe 2020 CES exhibition in Las Vegas, introducing a very interesting alternative to Apple’s leading AirPods on the market - PowerBud, a somewhat unusual pair of “related” headphones - ZenBuds, and two new smart watches - Amazfit T-Rex and Bip S .
Today the number of wireless headphones onthe market just rolls over. Therefore, it is almost impossible to distinguish really cool headphones from unattractive and unremarkable copies of AirPods. But the new hot AmazFit PowerBud models have at least two big things that can now be compared to several other TWS headphones (a true wireless stereo system).
First of all, we are talking about the built-in sensorheart rate, which not only continuously monitors the state of your body, but also provides real-time “status updates” and alerts right on your ear. Secondly, supposedly PowerBud is able to play tunes for as long as eight hours without recharging, and an elegant portable magnetic charging case increases this number to almost an incredible 24 hours.
In comparison, Apple offers its customersmediocre 5 hours of continuous listening to the AirPods Pro for $ 249, although the standardized wireless charging case raises the stamina to “over 24 hours.”
Of course, PowerBud is much cheaper -The recommended retail price is $ 100, sales begin in February. Weighing just 7 grams per earpiece, including detachable magnetic sports ear hooks and an overall design more similar to Amazon's Echo Buds than AirPods.
Amazfit ZenBuds, meanwhile, is, oddly enough, nothave neither release schedule nor price. Oddly enough, ZenBuds are not designed to play music or anything else other than “soothing sounds” before bedtime.
These sounds are automatically muted as soon asyou actually fall asleep, they block all ambient noise to improve the quality of your relaxation. Naturally, the indicated quality of sleep will be carefully monitored, along with heart rate, body position and movements, all without worrying about battery life of up to 12 hours between charges.
Smart watch Amazfit T-Rex and Bip S
As the name suggests, Bip S are notwith a completely new product, they follow in the footsteps of the Amazfit Bip and Bip Lite with a “colorful transflective” display, an incredible 40-day battery life, and a lightweight (and rather primitive) design. Weight 30 grams, first-class water resistance, built-in GPS function and a "revolutionary" indicator of personal activity.
Obviously, Bip S do not come with softwareproviding Wear OS or many additional features that should have been considered a serious competitor to Apple Watch, but we are sure that the price will be right. The original Amazfit Bip usually costs only 80 bucks, and the Bip S is unlikely to be much more expensive when it arrives in stores next month.
Finally, the T-Rex will go on sale at the end of this.months at a reasonable price of $ 140 with a robust feature set and even more reliable build. They are certified by the military to withstand extreme temperatures as well as other harsh weather conditions, while they are equipped with a sharp 1.3-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and always-on functionality.
Amazfit T-Rex protected against immersion in water ondepths of up to 50 meters, also do not work under Wear OS, but are equipped with an optical heart rate sensor, GPS, Glonass, sleep monitoring functions and a battery with autonomy up to 20 days. Not bad for less price than Samsung Galaxy Watch Active or Fitbit Versa 2.
