Amazon hinted at the release of Overwatch for Nintendo Switch, and Blizzard is unlikely to be able to justify it

Paladins, the so-called “free-to-play Overwatch,” is out now on the Nintendo Switch. At the same time, Blizzard still has not released

its "heroic" shooter on the Big N console, but it looks like that could be changing.

What is known

For the upcoming announcement of Overwatch for Nintendo Switchthe case hints... Amazon has published a protective case for the switch with the logo of the Blizzard MOBA shooter. Overwatch is a popular game whose logo adorns T-shirts, cups and even socks, so the creation of a branded case is not surprising. At the same time, as soon as the Internet noticed a Switch case with the Overwatch logo, the item disappeared from Amazon.

It seems that the store has once again published a product before the official announcement. This was the case, for example, with Watch Dogs Legion, which appeared on Amazon before its official demonstration.

In addition, the protective case is made by PowerA,which makes branded accessories for consoles under license. The company collaborates with gaming companies including Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, as well as game developers including Activision. So it's unlikely that the case was removed from Amazon shelves due to copyright infringement.

It looks like Blizzard is preparing Overwatch forNintendo Switch plans to release accessories for fans along with the release of the shooter. Gamers will find out how true the guesses will be in November at BlizzCon 2019.
