The key technologies for the Kuiper project are a constellation of artificial satellites in low Earth orbit to distribute satellite Internet.

KuiperSat-1 and KuiperSat-2 will be launched into orbit athelp RS1. This is a new rocket developed by ABL Space Systems. The RS1 rocket, 27 meters high, is capable of launching a payload of 1,350 kg into low-earth orbit. The rocket has never flown before, but ABL said it intends to conduct the first launch from the Pacific Cosmodrome in Alaska by the end of the year.

The Kuiper project is developed by Kuiper Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon. It is not the only one in the world. SpaceX and OneWeb have also launched their satellites.

Note that such projects are of concern to astronomers. The brightness of the satellites interferes with observations and exploration of space. Amazon, in turn, said it will take steps to minimize the harmful effects of the Kuiper project on the starry sky.
