What is known

Telecom operator Bakcell filed with AntimonopolyCommittee of Ukraine an application for the purchase of shares of Preludium B.V., which will give the right to own the Ukrainian operator Vodafone Ukraine. Today, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine gave permission for the purchase. Naturally, such a decision does not mean that the transaction will take place. Most likely, Bakcell is currently negotiating and exploring such a potential opportunity.

According to the latest information, the company serves 19.7 million subscribers, and its net profit for 2018 amounted to 1.8 billion UAH. The operator is a daughter of the Russian MTS through two intermediate legal entities - the Luxembourg Allegretto Holding S.a.r.l. and the Dutch Preludium B.V.
