A reliable insider said that AMD is going to announce new processors for socket AM4, including inexpensive ones
So far, AMD has released only one Zen3D model.with 8 cores, which received a generally positive response from the gaming community and technical reviewers. It matches Intel's 12th Gen Core K-series processors for gaming, but has limited performance in more demanding workloads.
Insider Greymon55 claims that AMD may release another Zen3D processor, possibly with fewer than eight cores.
In addition, despite the imminent launch of socket AM5,AMD is now testing a Zen4 processor designed for socket AM4. And it should be an inexpensive model. However, the company still needs to make a decision about its serial launch.
