AMD will release stripped-down and inexpensive graphics cards

A Japanese insider claims to have discovered yet-to-be-announced Radeon RX 6000 series video cards. These will be

inexpensive models. Discuss

An insider spoke about Radeon RX 6500XT video cardsand RX 6400 with 4 GB of GDDR6 memory. It is not known where the data about them was posted - on the manufacturer’s website or in an online store. If his information is correct, this means that AMD has the first RDNA2 GPUs with memory less than 8 GB.

According to rumors, both video cards are equipped with graphicsentry-level Navi 24 processor. This GPU must have up to 16 Compute Units (CU) with 1024 stream processors. This is half the size of Navi 23. This processor is suitable for casual games or multimedia. The configurations of the RX 6500XT and RX 6400 are currently unknown, but it can be assumed that the first model will have a standard GPU and the second will have a stripped-down version.

Such video cards, due to their characteristics, should be inexpensive.
