American F-35s first intercepted Russian fighters

Information has appeared on the network that American F-35 fighters, but owned by Norwegian

Air Force, were first used to intercept Russian Tu-142 and MiG-31 combat aircraft.

Everything happened as part of NATO’s surveillance effortsfor the flights of Russian military aircraft - it was then that two F-35As were lifted into the air and, together with the planes of the Royal British Air Force, intercepted two Russian Tu-142s, as well as the MiG-31 fighter accompanying them.

Recall that judging by the available data, at the beginning2020, the total number of F-35s built, in different variations, for various customers was 500 units. Ultimately, their number should increase to 3 thousand units of equipment.
