Americans talked about the difference between the Russian military threat and the Chinese

The American publication The National Interest published material about relations between Moscow and Beijing. It contains

opinion of the US government research center RAND on the difference between the Russian military threat and the Chinese one

The author of the material writes that today many people fromWashington's political elite agree that most of the world's problems are related to China's ambitions and "Moscow's insidious attempts to spread its tentacles everywhere."

The RAND organization, as stated in the material, has alreadytried to determine who is the greater threat - Moscow or Beijing. As a result, experts came to the following conclusion: “Russia is disobedient, but it is no match for us. China is our equal, but it is obedient.”

However, many military analysts believe thatthe most serious problems for the United States may arise if Russia and China join forces to destroy American global leadership.
