Los Angeles officials will use technology to help residents track and verify

It is not yet clear when the app will be available orexactly how it will work. Healthvana already offered a contact tracing app for Los Angeles residents as well as patient services to view test results and other related services for COVID-19. Other companies, such as IBM and non-profit organizations, are also working to create digital “vaccine passports” that will allow people to travel or freely visit stadiums, cinemas and other crowded places.
