Mod developer Patrick Loan is gradually reproducing the first “Witcher” in virtual reality. Not this way
According to Loan, for the sake of VR he redid the models andtextures of each of the things from the first “The Witcher” and carefully placed them in their places. He also replayed all the cutscenes and thought about how they should look with the ability to move your head around, which gave the VR version some extra detail.
The combat system has been adjusted for VR:the sword can be drawn from the scabbard behind the back and thrown at enemies, and the lesson is delivered by a simple wave of the hands. Another feature of VR is that you can interact with objects around, although not quite with all. Finally, there are scenes of an intimate nature in fashion and several Easter eggs from the author.
