An example of a 200-megapixel photo from the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra camera: was it worth it?

A new stage in the crazy race of smartphone megapixels will start soon. The pioneer, as is known,

will be Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, the first in the worldoffering a 200-megapixel main camera. Lenovo Mobile CEO Chen Jin decided to demonstrate its capabilities by publishing the original photo of a bouquet of flowers. True, the resolution of the file, alas, is not 200 megapixels, but only 50 - the sensor supports 4-in-1 binning for daytime photos and 16-in-1 for nighttime ones. However, the photo “weighs” a respectable 13.1MB and notable for its lack of sharpness at the edges of the frame. Evaluate the detail, color rendition and other aspects of the frame, and then share your opinion in the comments: do smartphones need such high-resolution cameras? The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra announcement date is still not announced.
