From DSCC's new monthly OLED smartphone service:
– Google Pixel 8 – 6.16″, down from 6.32″ on the Pixel 7
– Google Pixel 8 Pro – 6.7″, same as Pixel 7 Pro

So, both devices will receive OLED panelsmanufactured by Samsung. They will support an increased image refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The basic version of the smartphone will be equipped with a reduced version from 6.32″ until 6.16″ screen. The top model will have the same screen diagonal - 6.7″. By the way, according to the informant, the production of displays for smartphones will begin in May.

When to expect

Google is likely to show off the new stuff at the I/O 2023 developer conference on May 10th. A full release of new products is scheduled for autumn.
