Many Android smartphones have started to receive the previously exclusive Google Pixel feature.Turn off

by rotating the device.

The feature is called Flip to Silence. The media writes that it appeared on the Essential Phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, iQOO 3, Redmi Note 5A, ASUS ZenFone 6 and POCO F1 smartphones. The option works through the Google Phone application. It is worth noting that the function may not work, despite the fact that it appears in the settings. Apparently, you need to wait some time.

Flip to Silence allows you to turn off the sound when a call rings by simply rotating your smartphone and placing it face down. This can be convenient, for example, during a class at university or at work.

It is noted that the Google Phone app from Augustbecame available for any Android smartphone. Previously, it was preinstalled on Google Pixel devices, smartphones with pure Android and some other devices.
