Android 10 test builds leaked to the network for Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 7.1

HMD Global last week upgraded Nokia 8.1 to Android 10, and is now testing firmware for four more

smartphones.

What is known

XDA-Developers forum user postedtest builds of the new system for Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 7.1. Anyone can install the firmware, but we do not recommend doing this.

The update contains all the mainfeatures of the operating system. For example, new control gestures, like in Pixel smartphones, a dark theme, Smart Reply function and much more. Also in all four firmware there is an October security patch.

When to expect

According to the official HMD Global update map,these smartphones will receive a stable version of the OS in the first quarter of 2020. But given that the company is already testing the system on devices, the update may come out earlier.
