Android smartphones taught to send deferred SMS messages

Android smartphone owners can update the Messages app. In the update, in addition to minor fixes,

Google has added the ability to send deferred SMS.

The function works in a similar way to Telegram:the user writes a message, and then chooses the time at which the "addressee" will receive it, reported on the Android website. Interestingly enough, Google hasn't limited itself to implementing the update only with the latest Android 12 - the new feature is available on all devices running Android 7 and newer. You can download the new version of the application right now in the Google Play app store.
