Announcement of POCO C55 – “leather” balanced budget

The POCO brand has introduced a new budget model C55 in India, which is positioned as a stylish solution

with a good level of performance for itsprice category. As expected, the smartphone is a reimagining of another entry-level model – Redmi 12C. He has the same 6.71″ display with HD+ resolution, MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, dual main camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor, 5000 mAh battery with 10-W charging, loud speaker and MIUI for POCO. However, the main feature of the POCO variant is the design – a pseudo-leather body with a textured seam in the style of LG G4, a proprietary camera unit with a logo and a fingerprint scanner. Moisture protection according to IP52 is declared.

POCO C55 is offered in three colors (black,green and blue) and two configurations – 4/64 and 6/128 GB. The price starts at 9499 rupees (8600 rubles), but at the start there will be a discount of as much as 1000 rupees. It is unknown whether the model will appear outside the Indian market, especially considering that the global Redmi 12C will be ready very soon.
