Announcement of Realme Q5x and Realme V20 - each configuration under a new name

quietly presented Realme Q5x and Realme V20 –entry-level devices that are as similar to each other as two peas in a pod. And not only visually, but also in terms of the filling: these are literally the same smartphone, and the difference lies only in the memory configurations. The new products are based on the Dimensity 700 chipset, powered by a 5000 mAh battery with a modest 10W charging. The screen is 6.5″ LCD panel (HD+), at the top of which there is a 5-megapixel front camera in a teardrop-shaped cutout. The main camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels, and its auxiliary module-stub is not even mentioned in the description.

Housing with flat edges made of plasticblack and blue colors, a fingerprint scanner is built into the power button, and at the bottom you can see a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Out of the box, the devices run on Android 12 with the proprietary Realme UI 3.0 shell. Sales of both models will start in China from June 23, with Realme Q5x with 4/64 GB available for a modest 999 yuan, while Realme V20 will cost 1199 and 1399 yuan for versions 4/128 and 8/128 GB, respectively. It is possible that devices will soon arrive on global markets.
