Announcement of the Galaxy A23: a compact version of the 5G-budget

The Galaxy A23 smartphone was officially announced in Japan. It is manufactured by Samsung, but like all its others

products in Japan, the Samsung logo on the case is notapplied, and the Galaxy logo is used instead. At the same time, the new product has nothing in common with the Samsung Galaxy A23 and is more similar to last year’s Galaxy A22, also released specifically for Japan. The main feature of the Japanese model is its compactness: the screen diagonal is only 5.8″ (TFT, HD+), and the case dimensions are 150 x 71 x 9 mm.

Other Galaxy A23 specs include 50MPmain and 5-megapixel front camera, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, 4000 mAh battery, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory, NFC support and IP68 dust and moisture protection. Smartphone sales will begin before the end of the month, the price is still unknown. Last year's model, which has very similar specifications, now costs 22,000 yen (9200 rubles).
