Bungie has announced a new season in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, which will return old heroes to the game and add new ones
What is known
The Guardians defeated the Eternal Mind, but managedchange the course of history by breaking time on Mercury. In the Season of Dawn, apparently, the Cabal decided to take advantage of this and rewrite the history of the Red War, canceling the victory of the Vanguard. So the guards will have to interrupt new timelines using the Sundial.
Such a plot resulted in a new one of the same namemode for six players with matchmaking. Players will have to recapture the Sundial from the Cabal by stopping the change in time. Apparently, Saint-14, who in the Destiny 2 universe is called “the greatest Titan in history,” will help players in battles.
Bungie also decided not to abandon the idea of seasonal artifacts. Season of Dawn will feature the Lantern of Osiris, which players will also be able to upgrade to unlock modifications for armor and weapons.

Also in Season of Dawn:
- New orders for exotic weapons.
- PvP-mode "Elimination".
- New seasonal armor sets.
- More triumphs and quests.
- New combat pass.
Season Pass owners will have access to Season of Dawn and all content in the update. Other players will only receive Exotic Quests, the Lantern of Osiris, and the Seasonal Armor Set.
Season of Dawn will begin on December 10 and will last until March 9, 2020.
