Announcement of Xiaomi 12 Lite – thin smartphone with autofocus on the front

Xiaomi very strangely announced the light version of its flagship for 2022. The model was first shown at

Azerbaijani brand page on Facebook(banned in the Russian Federation) at the end of this week, but without detailed details. However, we managed to get all the important information and are now sharing it with you. So, Xiaomi 12 Lite relies on three main parameters – 120Hz AMOLED display with 240Hz touch sensor, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies and Gorilla Glass 5, “studio-grade cameras” with a 108-megapixel main Samsung HM2 sensor and a 32-megapixel Samsung GD2 front camera with autofocus and various software features, as well as a 4300 mAh battery with 67-W charging (50% in half an hour). In addition, the manufacturer also notes the design in a thin 7.29 mm case weighing only 173 g. In terms of “hardware” everything is quite prosaic: Snapdragon 778G in conjunction with LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2.

Xiaomi 12 Lite will be available on the market in threecolors: black, green (Lite Green) and pink (Lite Pink). There are three configurations in total depending on the amount of memory: 6/128, 8/128 and 8/256 GB. The price is currently only known for the middle version – about $590. We will probably receive European price tags tomorrow during a large-scale presentation.
