Announcement of Xiaomi 13 Ultra – Leica ultimate camera phone

Xiaomi presented its ultimate camera phone, Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It is this device, according to the manufacturer,

designed to unlock the full potential of the transaction withphoto brand Leica, which has brought its Summicron optics into the new product, thereby spicing up the already advanced hardware content, including 1″ 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 sensor with variable aperture and three Sony IMX858 lenses with the same resolution. In addition, the capabilities of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra are expanded by a set of accessories that visually transform the smartphone into a “point-and-shoot” Leica.

“Iron” in this particular Xiaomifades into the background, but still a few words about it. Xiaomi 13 Ultra implements 6.73″ AMOLED panel from TCL (C7), which produces a record 2600 nits at peak. Its specifications include QHD+ resolution, variable refresh rate 1-120 Hz, 12-bit color gamut, 1920 Hz PWM, Dolby Vision standards, HDR10+ and that's all. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is responsible for performance, with a liquid cooling area significantly expanded compared to other Xiaomi flagships. 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 are in place, it is worth highlighting the transition to an ultra-fast wired USB 3.2 Type-C interface. There is also 90W wired charging, unusual for Xiaomi.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is offered to the buyer in threecolors – black, green and white. There are also several memory configuration options available to choose from, and the top one is 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0 ROM. Price for first time buyers – 7299 yuan (almost 92,000 rubles). You will find all prices below. The above-mentioned kit for turning a smartphone into a camera was priced at 999 yuan (12,590 rubles), but the first buyers will be able to pick it up with a 20% discount. Sales will start on April 21 in China. International prices will be reported separately.
