"Osa" is a Soviet automated militaryanti-aircraft missile system. It is all-weather and designed to cover the forces and assets of a motorized rifle division in all types of combat operations. Development of the Wasp began in 1960, and was put into service in 1971. The complex is equipped with four 9 M33 anti-aircraft guided missiles. The Osa-AK modification has 6 9 M33M2 missiles, and the Osa-AKM modification has 6 9 M33M3 missiles.
