Apple may create its own search engine to compete with Google

Network sources write that Apple is working on its own search engine to compete with Google. She

could be the default search engine on the iPhone.

Sources said it is unknown whetherGoogle's Siri Suggestions feature. Additionally, it appears that Spotlight Search search results are returned directly to the system rather than being sent to a third-party search service such as Google. Another argument in favor of the version: Apple has recently been actively recruiting developers working with search engines.

The company also recently updated its Applebot support page with additions similar to what Google provides to webmasters and search engine optimizers.

If Apple does create its own search engine, it will lose the billions of dollars that Google pays to the company.
