The Liquid Retina panel displays 1 billion colors and has a brightness of up to 500 nits. The notch houses a FaceTime camera that can record video at resolutions up to Full HD.
The hardware platform of the MacBook Air is built around the Apple M2 with eight processor cores and a 10-core GPU. According to the manufacturer, the new laptop is 12 times faster than the model equipped with an Intel chip.

The maximum amount of RAM is24 GB, and the storage capacity is 2 TB. Apple claims that the laptop can operate without recharging for 18 hours. The model also has Touch ID, Thunderbolt, MagSafe and six stereo speakers.
Price and when to wait
The cost of the MacBook Air was at least $1299.The laptop is already available for pre-order, and sales will begin next week. The model will appear in four body colors: Midnight, Starlight, Silver and Space Gray.
