Apple accused of enrichment through illegal gambling

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California filed a lawsuit against Apple.The company has been accused of being

enriches itself through illegal gambling.

We are talking about free-to-play casino applications,which allow people to purchase in-game currency with real money. Chips can only be used by players within applications, meaning they cannot truly earn money. But Apple may well do it. The company receives a 30% commission on every in-game purchase. The plaintiffs claim that Apple and the casino developers entered into a mutually beneficial business partnership.

Apple, for its part, helps developers distribute applications and provides them with user data. And developers allow the company to earn good money.

Plaintiffs say users end upbecome addicted to gambling. Apple is violating California law. The plaintiffs said that they each spent at least $ 15,000 in virtual casinos.
