It seems that Apple has heard users' complaints and has acknowledged the problem with green screens on smartphones
What's wrong
On the forums, users write that the displaysflickering, green or gray glow, or other unintended lighting changes appear under certain conditions. Moreover, this problem affects all models of the line: iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Judging by the messages, the glow appears when the screen brightness is set to 90% or lower. But it is not always permanent and for some it disappears over time.

What to do about it
MacRumors received an internal documentApple Authorized Service Providers. It states that Apple is aware of user complaints and is currently investigating the issue. Technicians are advised to avoid servicing affected iPhones—at least for now. Customers must be informed that they must update their iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
It appears the company expects to address the issue in a future software update. True, it is now in iOS 14.1, iOS 14.2 and, apparently, even in the first two beta versions of iOS 14.3.
By the way, the same green shades were once present on the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphones, and Apple was able to fix this in iOS 13.6.1.
