Apple bought a startup that monitors asthma in children

Apple acquired Tueo Health, a startup that was developing a system to help parents manage symptoms

asthma in sleeping children.

All for the sake of customer health

The CEO and COO of Tueo Health changed their employer to Apple on their LinkedIn profiles back in late 2018. It was around then that Apple completed its acquisition of the company.

Tueo Health is developing a mobile app for parents whose children suffer from asthma. The program will send a notification if the child's breathing changes during sleep.

In 2016 and 2017, Apple made two more healthcare acquisitions. It bought Gliimpse, which has technology for collecting medical records, and Beddit, which makes sleep sensors.

Apple devices have helped patients beforeelderly people, and sometimes even saved their lives. Just remember Apple Watch, which called an ambulance for a man with supraventricular tachycardia and a pensioner who slipped in the bathroom.
