Apple Card officially launched in the USA

After careful testing by invitation, a new credit card from Apple became available to everyone in the States.

All operations with the card and account are carried out entirely inThe Wallet app on iPhone 6 or later devices running iOS 12.4. The card can be tied to the wallet using the “+” button in the upper right corner. Despite the fact that the card is designed to work with Apple Pay, users can also request a physical version of their card, which is made of titanium. Card service is completely free.

Apple has partnered with Uber, therefore, trips in taxis and the use of the Uber Eats service now rely on a three percent cashback. This is even better than Uber’s own Visa, which offers two percent cashback (but four for Eats).

In addition, “plastic” from the apple corporation offers “everyday rewards”:
- 1% for all purchases using a physical card
- 2% for purchases through Apple Pay
- 3% for using a digital card in Apple services, for example iTunes, Apple Store or App Store and purchasing subscriptions.

The company says it will "continue to add new popular stores and apps."
