Apple considering iPhone 15 Ultra: something new or old in a new way?

The latest iPhone 14 has barely hit the shelves, and the Internet is already rife with speculation about the future iPhone 15.

He suggests that Apple will abandon the Pro Max model, which is not very easy to pronounce, replacing it with Ultra. Thus, the series will consist of iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Ultra. By analogy with the Apple Watch Ultra, the source expects some exclusive features and a significant improvement in battery life in the iPhone 15 Ultra.

Support for 8K video recording is also mentioned.however, it is unclear whether it will be an “ultra” or the iPhone 15 Pro will also be available. Further support for the chipset split is expected: base models will receive last year's Apple A16, while Pro and Ultra will be equipped with the new Apple A17. Finally, the long-awaited abandonment of the Lightning connector in favor of USB-C is also mentioned. However, all of the above is more speculation and speculation than real leaks, which, at best, will begin to appear closer to winter.
