US President Joe Biden has named seventeen recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Among them there is one of
Presidential Medal of Freedom – this is the highestA U.S. civilian award given to “individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant public, public, or private endeavors.”

The awards will be presented at the White House on July 7, 2022.
