Apple has already begun production of A13 processors for new iPhones.

Bloomberg, citing informed sources, reports that production of processors for

new family of iPhones, which will be released this fall.

What is it

This is the Apple A13 single-chip platform, made using a 7-nanometer process technology. The production is carried out by TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing).

So far, only trial production has begun, but mass production is planned to begin by the end of this month. Therefore, Apple will definitely not have a shortage of chips.

Let us remind you that they should debut this year toothree models: iPhone XI, iPhone XI Max and iPhone XR2 (provisional names). The older ones will have 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays and triple cameras, while the younger ones will have a 6.1-inch LCD display and a dual camera. According to preliminary information, all three will have the Apple A13 chip.
