Apple has recognized the iPad mini as an obsolete product

Apple has updated its obsolete and retired product lists on its official website

(Vintage and Obsolete products).

Now to legacy products officiallyrefers to the original 7.9-inch iPad mini released in 2012. This is the smallest Apple tablet to date. Since then, several generations of successors to the device have come out, but the design has not changed during this time: the latest iPad mini has the same thick bezels and a round Home button with Touch ID.

Products deemed obsolete maycontinue to receive hardware service from Apple and service providers as long as parts for repair are available and where required by law. These are gadgets that have not been sold for more than 5 or less than 7 years.

Also in the list of decommissionedproducts hit the 21.5-inch iMac late 2011. This is a list of devices that were discontinued more than 7 years ago. The company does not service hardware for retired products, and service centers do not have the ability to order official spare parts.
