iOS 10.3: Find AirPods and more

In iOS 103 there are many new features and fixes hidden from the eyes of users, including the ability for AirPods owners to find their lost headphones. Additionally, in iOS 10.3, a floating keyboard code was found for working with one hand on iPad devices, but so far there is no evidence that this functionality will be activated in the updated software in the version for the general public.

It was also discovered that iOS 10.3 allows third-party applications to dynamically update their icons on the home screen, without having to update the application itself. Such functionality will allow applications to display various statuses of their position on the home screen icon. For example, the application icon may change after upgrading to the full version of the application through the built-in shopping mechanism.

Cinema mode in watchOS

watchOS 3.2 introduces a new mode: Cinema. The mode is activated by a switch in Control Center and puts your Apple Watch into silent mode and darkens the screen until you press one of the buttons or until you tap on the screen.

In addition to turning on the “Cinema” mode, watchOS 3.2 allows you to manage your favorite watch applications using Siri, so you can perform actions such as sending a short message, paying for purchases, ordering a trip, starting training, calling a contact or searching for photos using voice.
