Why do you need it
iTunes has too much different content thatmay affect the comfort of use. It will be much more convenient to go into a separate application and download exactly what you came there for. Although, some may be confused by the large number of labels. Another reason why Apple may abandon iTunes on Mac is the recent announcement of Apple TV+. All films and TV series will be moved there.
I am now fairly confident based on evidence Idon’t wish to make public at this point that Apple is planning new (likely UIKit) Music, Podcasts, perhaps even Books, apps for macOS, to join the new TV app. I expect the four to be the next wave of Marzipan apps. Grain of salt, etc

Perhaps we will learn the details after the WWDC 2019 conference, which will be held in California on June 3-7 this year.
And yes, this means the long-awaited break up of iTunes. Finally!
