Such a large number suggests that the premium version of the iPhone 8, according to Apple's expectations, will be snapped up like hotcakes.

The order for 70 million panels does not mean that Apple will sell the same number of devices this year. This stock will be used at the beginning of next year.

Nikkei post also confirms that all threeiPhone 8 models will support wireless charging and be waterproof, although Apple is still working on a suitable cooling system.
