Apple promises to repair broken iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for free

Apple has launched a new free out-of-warranty repair program. This applies to iPhone 6s smartphones

and iPhone 6s Plus, but not all.

Who will be repaired

Apple's website says that a "small percentage" of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have a problematic component that may prevent the smartphones from turning on. The company does not provide any other details.

Such gadgets were released in the period from October 2018 to August 2019. To check if this applies to your device, enter its serial numberhere. If the result is positive, go to the nearest authorized service center.

Apple will repair such smartphones for free. Those users who have already spent money on repairs are promised a refund.

The repair program for defective iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus will last two years.
