Apple promises to repair broken iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus for free

Apple has launched a new free warranty repair program. This applies to smartphones iPhone 6s

and iPhone 6s Plus, but not all.

Who will be repaired

The Apple website says that a “small percentage” of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have identified a problem component, which may cause smartphones to not turn on. The company does not provide other details.

Such gadgets were released between October 2018 and August 2019. To check if this concerns your device, enter its serial number here. If the result is positive, go to the nearest authorized service center.

Apple will repair such smartphones for free. Those users who have already spent on repairs are promised a refund.

The repair program for defective iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus will last two years.
