Apple released iOS 13: iPhone finally got dark theme and updated Safari

Apple today, as promised, released the final version of the iOS 13 operating system. We will tell you

what's new in this firmware and how to install it.

What's new

Perhaps iOS 13 will be able to compete with other versions in terms of the number of innovations. They do not concern the interface, but there are many new functions.

First of all, this is the long-awaited dark mode and the updated Safari browser, the mobile version of which is now more similar to the desktop version and has even learned to download files of any formats and sizes.

Also this is the Find My application, which allows you tosearch for a lost device, even if it’s dead, an updated Photos tab with convenient editing tools, new editing features in the Camera app, support for new gestures (holding instead of hard presses), quick login to apps and websites using Apple ID, Siri, which can now play music, podcasts, audiobooks and radio using third-party apps, and read incoming messages from AirPods 2, an all-new Reminders app with expanded functionality.

In addition, iPhone unlocking with Face ID is 30% faster, apps open up to two times faster, and download file sizes are smaller.

The next iOS 13.1 update, which will be released on September 24, promises to add support for two pairs of headphones.

How to install

iOS 13 is installed out of the box on the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Owners of other models will be able to install the update over the air or via iTunes/Finder.

iOS 13 weighs about 3 GB.
