Apple Revives MacBook Pro with Big Screen and Returns to Professional Monitor Market

Well-known TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo), who is well acquainted with Apple products, made predictions

according to the company's plans for the next couple of years.

New MacBook Pro

According to the forecast, Apple is preparing a completely newMacBook Pro notebook with a fairly large screen - 16 or even 16.5 inches. In recent years, the "apple" laptops had a much smaller display diagonal, and the latest model with a 17-inch screen came out in 2012.

In addition, the laptop will have a display onminiature LEDs - mini-LED. But it will not be released soon - in the first half of 2021. But it is also expected 13-inch model with a maximum amount of RAM - up to 32 GB.

We return to the monitors

The mini-LED display will also receive a monitor with a diagonal31.6 inches with a resolution of 6K, which will be released later this year. This will be Apple’s return to the professional monitors market: the company has not released them since 2016. Supplier of LEDs for the new monitor will be the Japanese company Nichia.

What else

In the coming years, the iPad will also switch to mini-LED. Such models with screens of 10 and 12 inches should debut in the fourth quarter of 2020 or in the first quarter of 2021.
