Apple Revives MacBook Pro with Big Screen and Returns to Professional Monitor Market

Well-known TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is well acquainted with Apple products, made predictions

according to the company's plans for the next couple of years.

According to forecasts, Apple is preparing a completely newa MacBook Pro laptop with a fairly large screen - 16 or even 16.5 inches. In recent years, Apple laptops have had a much smaller display diagonal, and the latest model with a 17-inch screen was released in 2012.

In addition, the laptop will have a displayon miniature LEDs - mini-LED. But it will not be released soon - in the first half of 2021. But a 13-inch model is also expected with a maximum amount of RAM – up to 32 GB.

Back to the monitors

The mini-LED display will also receive a diagonal monitor31.6 inches with 6K resolution, which will be released this year. This will be Apple's return to the professional monitor market: the company has not released them since 2016. The supplier of LEDs for the new monitor will be the Japanese company Nichia.

What else

iPad tablets will also switch to mini-LED in the coming years. Such models with 10-inch and 12-inch screens should debut in the fourth quarter of 2020 or the first quarter of 2021.
