Apple should present new AirPods in May

Blogger Jon Prosser claims that Apple will release new AirPods along with an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro in May 2020.

The updated AirPods were supposed to be shown in March along with the new iPhone SE, but this did not happen. iPhone SE was presented in the form of a regular press release.

The code name for the new AirPods is “B288A”. The 2nd generation AirPods was called “B288”, which means that the new headphones will not be a major update.

It is not known what new features the headphones will have. Rumor has it that the company is working on AirPods Pro Lite, which will be similar to AirPods Pro, but cheaper.

New AirPods (which were supposed to be at the March Event) are now ready to go.

Probably alongside the MacBook Pro next month.

The blogger also wrote that at the WWDC 2020 conference, Apple will present its on-ear headphones.

Apple released AirPods Pro with noise reduction and excellent sound quality at the end of last year. At the beginning of the year, AirPods of the 2nd generation came out with an H1 chip, longer battery life and reduced interference.
