Apple slows the aging of new iPhones

Surely everyone remembers the scandal that Apple got into in 2017. Then the company admitted that it intentionally

slows down older smartphone models toextend the life of their batteries. This practice still exists, but now users have been given the right to decide for themselves whether or not to slow down their gadget.

However, the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models do not seem to be affected by this problem.

What came up

New models have a control systempower supply, controlling both software and hardware components. This system allows you to slow down battery degradation and maintain the performance of the device.

“Power consumption of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Proand iPhone 11 Pro Max is dynamically tracked and performance monitored to meet these needs in real time. This system is more advanced than in previous iPhones and helps reduce the impact on performance as the battery in your new iPhone ages,” Apple says on its website.

Apple also reminds you that an old battery can cause your iPhone to run slower, display dimming, speaker volume, and Internet speeds to decrease.

Time will tell how “survivable” the new products will be.
