The patent is called "Optical system fordisplays. " It talks about how you can use lenses for virtual and augmented reality helmets that will be very close to your eyes. Such lenses are cheaper to manufacture, but they often cause problems. Apple seems to have found a solution for them in the form of holographic images.

The new display will transmit light from the opticalsystems right in the user's eyes. Images will be created by holographic optical elements. The patent also says that technology will help redirect light that normally does not get into the user's eyes.

The system can use two lenses for each eye or one universal. In the second option, a special element will be used that does not allow images for different eyes to intersect.

Apple has published many patents onaugmented and virtual reality. We have heard more than once that the company is developing its own helmet. According to rumors, the helmet will run on the rOS system and it will have an 8K display.
